UPSC CAPF AC 2023 Application Form:

• The UPSC CAPF 2023 application form, following the problem of UPSC CAPF 2023 notification, will be made accessible online on the official UPSC website (www.upsconine.nic.in).
• Online applicants shall apply via the link www.upsconline.nic.in. The abovementioned website provides detailed directions on filling out internet apps.
• The applicant shall cautiously decide whether to choose Center for the UPSC CAPF 2023 Exam when filling out the UPSC CAPF 2023 application form.
• In the event of the applicant reaching any center, not awarded or chosen by UPSC or not included in the admittance card, the applicant nomination shall be dealt with as dismissed.
• If the CAPF 2023 application remains incomplete, the CAPF request will be immediately dismissed. In such a situation of refusal, no request or application will in any circumstance be accepted.
• UPSC CAPF 2023 application form will only be presented online. Candidates applying for the CAPF 2023 UPSC examination must verify the requirements for admission to the test.
• UPSC CAPF 2023 Application form will be completed in 2 parts.
• First Part:
  • Go to www.upsconline.nic.in.
  • Go to Apply Online and Click on it.
  • Select Online Application for UPSC CAPF 2023.
  • The application form will open.
  • Submit required information for registration like Name, Date of Birth, Parents Name, Address, Applying for, Qualification, Nationality, Email Address, and Mobile Number.
  • Submit Form.
  • Registration Information will be sent to Email Address.
  • Note RID (Registration ID) and Password (Date of Birth).
  • Go for Second Part of Application Form using same above-given Website.
• Second Part:
  • Login in with RID and Password in.
  • Feed Required Information such as:
    • Academic Qualification.
    • Categories i.e. ST / SC/ OBC / Central or State Govt. Employee / etc.
    • Physical Measurement i.e. Chest, Height, Weight, etc and Fitness.
    • Center for UPSC CAPF 2023 Exam.
    • Scanned Images of Self Photograph and Signature (each file should not exceed 40 KB and must not be less than 3 KB in size for the photograph and 1 KB for the signature).
  • Submit Form.
  • Go to payment gateway.

Application Fee

The application fee for UPSC CAPF 2023 exam will be as follows:

For Male candidates from General/ OBC categories: Rs. 200/-

For Female/ SC/ ST candidates: Nil (Exempted)

UPSC CAPF 2023 Exam pattern:

The exam of UPSC CAPF consists of both written and Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.

Exam pattern for written exam

Mode of Exam: This will be an offline pen-paper test with 2 papers.

Number of papers – 2 (Paper 1 & Paper 2)

Duration of Exam: 2 hours for Paper 1 and 3 hours for Paper 2

Type of questions: Objective Type (multiple choice type questions for Paper 1) and subjective type (questions in Paper 2).

Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests

Those candidates who will clear the written exam have to appear for the physical efficiency test. The pattern for this exam will be Given below:

Interview/ Personality Test

• Candidates who are declared qualified in the tests of medical standards shall be required to conduct the UPSC interview/personality test.
• The interview will carry 150 marks.
• Interview and personality tests are provisional for applicants who have been declared to be medically unable but permitted to appear before the “Medical Review Board” upon their appeal by the Appellate Authority.
• A detailed application form(DAF) in which they are required to indicate their preference for forces shall be issued amongst candidates who have been shortlisted for the interview/personality test, including those temporarily for the interview/personality trial.

UPSC CAPF AC 2023 Syllabus:

The UPSC CAPF 2023 examination includes four phases in the recruitment process. The curriculum is provided in two sections for the written examination. Each part has 1 document. This implies that there are 2 papers in 2 components; part 1 of paper 1 and part 2 of paper 2.

UPSC CAPF 2023 Written Exam Syllabus for both the papers is as follows:

UPSC CAPF 2023 – Paper I: ( Total questions – 200; Total Marks – 250; Duration – 2 hours)

General Ability and Intelligence: Under this subject, 6 topics will be covered and objective type multiple choice question will be asked.
General Mental Ability:	Questions are intended to test the logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, numerical ability, and data interpretation ability.
General Science:	General awareness of science, scientific temper, knowledge, and importance of scientific experiments of everyday observation including new areas of importance like IT, Biotechnology, and Environmental Science.
Current Events of National and International Importance:	The questions will test the candidates’ awareness of current events of national and international level the fields of governance, globalization, business, industry, sports, culture, arts, literature, sports, and music.
Indian Polity and Economy:	The questions target is to test candidates’ knowledge about Country’s political system and the Constitution of India, social life and public administration, economic development in India, regional and international security issues and human rights including its indicators.
History of India:	The questions will broadly cover the subject in its social, economic and political aspects. This shall also include the areas of growth of nationalism and freedom movement.
Indian and World Geography:	The questions shall cover the physical, social and economic aspects of geography pertaining to India and the World.

UPSC CAPF 2023 – Paper II: (Total questions – 7; Total Marks – 200; Duration – 3 Hours)

General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension
Part-A –	Essay questions which are to be answered in the long narrative form either in Hindi or English totaling 80 Marks. The indicative topics are related to Indian Politics and Economy, modern Indian history especially of the freedom struggle, geography, social security, and human rights issues and analytical ability.
Part-B –	Comprehension, précis writing, other communications/language skills – to be attempted in English only (Marks 120) – The topics are Comprehension passages, précis writing, developing arguments, basic grammar and vocabulary.

UPSC CAPF AC 2023-22 Admit Card:

• The e-Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website by candidates.
• During the testing, don’t forget to bring an Admit Card.
• All the test data such as roll number, name and place, examinations timing and significant instructions are contained in the Admit Card.
• Keep your admission card secure as it will be used in the next phase.

UPSC CAPF AC 2023 Result:

• In September 2023, the results are anticipated to be announced.
