He was born on Dec 12th, 1981 in Chandigarh, Punjab, in a Sikh family. In his childhood days, he was deeply interested in sports such as Tennis as well as roller skating. More about Yuvi: Yuvraj’s father divorced Shabnam Singh (Yuvraj’s mother). He chose his mother to stay with after his parents’ separation. Later Yuvraj chose Hazel Keech and they tied the knot with each other on Nov. 30, 2016.
His Prime Role In Indian Cricket:
Being the bright member of the Indian Cricket team he exceptionally played his role. He remains vice-captain of the Indian One Day International team from a year from 2007 to 2008. He is remembered for his continuous six-sixes in a single over. He also made the record of the fastest fifty within 12 balls in the same match.
Career Disaster Cricketer:
However, the year 2011 brought the sudden downfall of Yuvraj Singh after he is diagnosed with cancer in the lungs. He has to undergo cancer treatment for over a year but lastly, he won the battle, and today he is living a happy and healthy life with his family.
Awards and Achievements:
Yuvraj Singh won Arjuna Award in the year 2012. After two years he won the Padma Shri award in the year 2014. He played in the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014 and Delhi Daredevils in 2015.
