Air India flight hub is in Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. This is its first hub; the second hub of Air India flight is in ChatrapatiShivaji Terminal, Mumbai. The color pattern of Air India is red and white. The aircraft is white on which Air India is written in red color. It is written both in Hindi and English on each side.
History Of Air India :
Air India got its present name after World War II. It was founded by J.R.D Tata in the year 1932 and named as Tata Airlines. After successfully working for years and serving India, it was made public limited company and got its present name.
Air India operates both domestic and international flights. Domestic flights are operated under the subsidiary of Air India with the name Air India Regional. This was formed with the merger of Air India and Indian Airlines.
Defunct: Air India was the first any Asian aircraft that operated cargo flight. But, because of some reason, it discontinued that service in the year 2012.
