ARA Mental Health Action Research and Advocacy Association of Greater
Vancouver, significantly important to the needy people and new
immigrants. At this time their services truly are needed by more than
thousands of Downtown Eastside residents, and more.
The deteriorating economic situation across Canada is of great concern
to all of us. People are suffering from mental depression. Mental
illness does not have to doom an individual to the life of poverty or
frequent hospitalization. Just like poverty does not have to doom an
individual to the life of crime or addictions. Emotional, financial, and
legal support has the ability to turn one’s life around. Most
importantly ARA’s support enables their clients to live healthier, more
independent lives and potentially become productive members of society..
They are very popular for their render services.
Currently we came to know that ARA is going to be shut down soon as
there will be no fund to run this important organization. Our future is
unknown. We all are shocked and turning to mental illness. Even when a
natural disaster doesn’t force ARA to shut its doors, …
