Kareena went to Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and later joined Welham Girls’ School in Dehradun. After completing schooling at Welham, she joined Mithibai College for two years. Then she went to the USA for completing a three-month summer course in microcomputers at Harvard Summer. There she/her interest developed in law and enrolled at the Government Law College, Mumbai. She developed a passion for reading and after completing the first year she decided to pursue acting. In 2012, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan went into their registry marriage. On 16 October 2012, Kapoor married actor Saif Ali Khan in a private ceremony in Bandra, Mumbai and gave birth to two sons in 2016 and 2021 respectively. She officially became Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Interest developed in Acting:
Despite the film background, her father was against an acting career. He believed that women must take care of the family responsibilities and this led to a conflict between her parents, and they both separated. This led to her upbringing by her mother Babita. And to raise her two daughters she worked several jobs till Karisma debuted as an actress in 1991. Slowly things went fine and both her parents finally reconciled in 2007.
