L&T Construction went into solar energy projects as well. It was commissioned as the largest solar photovoltaic power plant helped by Reliance Power in Rajasthan. Besides this, it also started as an international manufacturer for electrical as well as electronic products. The company manufactured various electronic products along with systems. There was the manufacturing of custom-engineered switchboards required in refineries, electronic products and various sorts of systems.
