Rohit Sharma was born on 30^th April 1987 in the Bansod district of Nagpur, Maharashtra. His mother’s name is Purnima Sharma and his father, Gurunath Sharma, was a caretaker of a transport firm storehouse. His younger brother’s name is Vishal Sharma. He was brought by his grandparents and uncles in Borivali due to the low income of his father. Often he visits his parents’ house located in Dombivli on weekends.

Early Cricket Training:
