The UPSC Geologists application form is published online via the official UPSC website. Applying for the exam, candidates must enter all the required information, such as educational information, contact information, personal data, etc. The candidates must choose the examination center when filling out the application form. The scanned passport images and signatures must be uploaded in the application form, in addition to details.

For General/ OBC candidates (Male candidates only): Rs. 200/-

Mode of payment
Each category comprises of four papers. In all these categories, General English is a common category. In all the subjects, the exam is a conventional type.
General English exam will be for 100 marks take place for 3 hours duration
I Category: GEOLOGISTS
II Category – GEOPHYSICISTS
III Category – CHEMISTS
IV Category- JR. HYDROGEOLOGISTS
Note: After conducting the written test, selected candidates will be called for Interview as a personality test. This interview will be for 200 marks. If applying for the post of Jr. Hydrogeologist and Geologist then-candidate need applying in the subjects mentioned above under the category I and category IV.

The Admit Card: Three weeks before the exam, the UPSC will publish its admits card on the official website. The candidates must provide some basic information, such as RID, date of birth, etc, to download the admit card. If the candidate’s unable to find the admit card online, contact the authorities of the UPSC immediately. Without a valid admit card, no candidates are allowed for the UPSC Geoscientist Combined exam 2023.
The UPSC Combined Geoscientist Examination 2023 results will be published on the UPSC’s official website. The authorities will announce separate lists of merits for all categories. Candidates who are listed on the merit list shall fill in the DAF (Detailed Request Form) and submit it. The DAF printout and the certified copies of relevant papers must be forwarded to the office of the UPSC.
